Habituation is crucial (and handling, especially for rats). While there’s no firm rule in terms of duration of the habituation, a rule of thumb is to wait for at least 15 minutes until the animals are calm, not releasing urine or feces and showing no sign of distress or moving too much to correctly target the paw.
Optional Extended Warranty (UB Care)
In addition to the one-year Regular Warranty and in addition to the one-year product registration extended warranty, Ugo Basile offers an Optional Extended Warranty that extends the warranty period for the product for additional one or two years called “UB Care12”/“UB Care24”.
