Dr. Eline Dreesen of Aberdeen University presented the resslts of an interesting test, comparing two different RotaRod, evidencing that motor coordination (but not motor learning) is affected by  differences in RotaRod hardware. In particular the division discs between the lanes, which in our model revolve together with the rotor, have been find functional to carry out the test in the best conditions.

Ugo Basile RotaRod is the original model, designed in the 60s, and is still #1 in users' choice, with more than 5,000 citations on scientific papers!
